Joyce A. Hospodar, MBA, MPA, has worked over the past 30 years in health care for hospital systems in Utah, Kentucky and Arizona in the areas of strategic planning, marketing and operations of community-based programs. Currently, Hospodar is the manager of health systems development at the Center for Rural Health in the University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. Her efforts focus on providing technical assistance to the state’s small rural hospitals, rural health clinics and emergency medical services systems, supporting and implementing performance improvement initiatives.
