Juyoung Park, PhD, MSW
Juyoung Park, PhD, MSW, is a professor at the University of Arizona College of Nursing and associate director of the Brain Digital Technology Laboratory. Her research focuses on nonpharmacological pain management strategies, including brain stimulation technologies and chair yoga, to improve quality of life for older adults with chronic conditions like Alzheimer's disease and osteoarthritis.
Park has served as principal investigator or co-principal investigator on several National Institutes of Health-funded studies and has over 110 peer-reviewed publications. She is currently co-investigator on two R01 projects exploring transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and mindfulness-based therapies for chronic pain and cognitive function. Recognized as a Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America, her work advances innovative, accessible solutions for aging populations.
