Lisa Grisham is a neonatal nurse practitioner and director of the Family Centered Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) Care Program at Banner – University Medical Center Tucson. She has 25 years of experience in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and will complete her DNP/PhD degrees at the University of Arizona in 2025.
Grisham's research is focused on the utilization of babywearing as a non-pharmacologic intervention for infants with neonatal abstinence syndrome. Through this research, she aims to decrease the need for postnatal opioids to treat NAS, and increase neurodevelopmental outcomes in infants with substance exposure.
