Director, Center for Transformative Interprofessional Healthcare

Margie Arnett, MS, is the director of the University of Arizona's Center for Transformative Interprofessional Healthcare (CTIPH). The CTIPH provides interprofessional events throughout the year for the University of Arizona, Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University. These events are held online, asynchronous and in-person. The CTIPH hosts three IPE events relevant to the Comprehensive Center for Pain & Addiction: Pain and Substance; Applying SBIRT Strategies to Substance Misuse; and AZ CANN: Cannabis is Legal, Now What? 

Arnett's research interests include interprofessional education, social media, diversity in dental education, health disparities and tobacco dependence education. She received the 2025 University of Arizona Award for Excellence. She has also received awards for her volunteer work, including Citizen of Achievement from the League of Women's Voters, and Woman of Distinction from the California State Senate and Assembly.

She is the co-founder of Giddyup Genie, a company that provides social media software.
