Krista LaBruzzo, MD
Krista LaBruzzo, MD, is a graduate of Creighton University and received her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She completed her fellowship training in addiction medicine after finishing a family medicine residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. She has experience in caring for patients with substance use in inpatient and outpatient settings as well as collaborating with other providers to provide comprehensive care. Her special interests include substance use disorder in pregnancy and adolescence, expansion of the multidisciplinary medical home, and advocacy and education in regards to addiction medicine.
LaBruzzo is a board-certified family medicine and addiction medicine physician. She is a member of the American College of Academic Addiction Medicine and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. She is currently an assistant professor and faculty physician at the Addiction Recovery Center at Banner – University Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
