Clinical Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome

We offer comprehensive support for mothers, infants, and families experiencing neonatal abstinence syndrome in Tucson, Arizona.
The Family-Centered Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome Care Team at Banner Health is run by a neonatal team of specialists that includes doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, therapists, social workers, and volunteer “cuddlers” to help support you while you take care of your baby.
Our mission is to improve the care, treatment, and outcome of substance exposed newborns by committing to evidence based practices, research, education, and quality care. The Family-Centered Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome Care Team's goal is to be a resource to Banner Health teams, our community and families before, during, and after the birth of the infant with NAS.
