Dr. Summers is an Addiction and Emergency Medicine physician and Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine. He completed his medical school and residency at University of California, Davis, and his master of public health at Harvard. His research includes mixed methods implementation science approaches focused on improving care for people who use drugs and alcohol in the acute care settings.
